What's under the microscope? Subject lines, designs, CTAs? Choose the variable you want to test and make it count.

3. Variety is the Spice of Life

Craft a couple of distinct versions—tweak that one thing you're testing and keep everything else consistent. Remember, one variable at a time keeps the conclusions clear.

4. Audience Size Matters

Decide how many folks you're testing on. A 50/50 split usually does the trick, ensuring each version has enough eyeballs to give you valid results. A 70:30 split would also work if you're risk-averse.
