Yes, you can. Easily port over an existing number from another provider following these simple steps.
We are offering 3 free months of premium phone numbers for any new or existing customers who sign up between October 8th, 2024 and November 8th, 2024. No one who signs up in this time period will be billed, and all successful enrollees will receive an email confirming your free premium phone number access after you add it.
Just like standard Close phone calls made by individuals, our premium phone numbers charge usage fees separately for what you actually use. Inbound local calls start at just $0.0085 per minute. That’s just $4 per month if you take 500 inbound calls! These are a pass-through, per-minute charge based on Twilio’s voice pricing. You can find more details and costs here.
Other business phone providers like OpenPhone, Grasshopper, and Aircall charge a flat fee––then give you unlimited domestic calls. Here’s the catch: those systems are 40-50% more expensive than Close’s premium number add-on, right off the bat. If you receive local calls, you’d need to receive 100 hours of inbound calls every single month in order to justify the costs of these flat-fee vendors! A local inbound call in Close’s business phone is only .0085 cents per minute.

The promotion applies only to the $19/line, per month fee to add a Premium Phone Number. Usage fees still apply and will be billed separately. Multiple free premium phone numbers are allowed––all will be free for 3 months from the date of the number’s upgrade. They’ll see their prorated billing restart in 3 usage invoices.
